Referral Process

Referral streams include outpatient treatment and counseling agencies, residential treatment centers, primary care practitioners, schools, parents and self-referrals.  Additionally, youth diverted from incarceration or juvenile detention may be referred.

  • Enrolment is voluntary
  • Educational and recovery pre-entrance interview is required
  • Applicants must be a minimum 30 days drug or alcohol free
  • Applicants must be between the ages of 13 and 19
  • Students presenting with IEP’s will be evaluated on a case by case basis
  • Students must be enrolled in an active recovery program
  • Parents or caregivers must be actively engaged in their son/daughter’s education
  • Students and parents must be willing to sign an accountability contract with QCRC
  •  QCRC enrolment is capped at 40 students In order to provide the individualized attention that benefits recovering students


A referral is an invitation to apply to Quest Collegiate and Recovery Centres however acceptance is not guaranteed.  Prospective students who pose a risk to themselves or to the recovery community or who fail to demonstrate a true commitment to their recovery and their education will not be considered candidates for QCRC.
